Letter to our supporters

Comfortable Jubilee Project

Dear Jubilee Project supporters,

I want to begin by thanking you from the bottom of my heart. When I released our very first video on my 22nd birthday in 2010, I didn’t intend to start a youtube channel or expect many people to tune in. Seven years later, I’m still floored by your incredible support. You’ve been with us from the very first video through every campaign and project. So very simply, I’d like to say thank you.

Today, we’re beginning a new chapter in our journey with the announcement of Jubilee Media. Over the past year or two, you’ve probably noticed that we haven’t released much content. Honestly, with the transition of our co-founders Eddie and Eric, I’ve been doing some soul-searching. I wasn’t sure what I was called to do and why I was doing it. But during that time, I rediscovered the importance of media and how critical it is to bridging people together and inspiring love. I realized I still have a heart for creating inspiring content, but the non-profit model wasn’t the right structure for us to maximize impact.

So, I decided to launch Jubilee Media. We have the same heart for doing good, bringing people together, and inspiring love. Jubilee Project will continue to exist as a non-profit to oversee our Fellowship and events. But our media channels will be rebranded as Jubilee Media — a for-profit startup.

A lot of you are also wondering where “Save My Seoul” is. With a heavy heart, I share that in the fall of 2016, Crystal, one of the main characters of “Save My Seoul,” passed away. Our entire team was shocked and devastated. After learning about Crystal’s death, our team took some time to process and reflect. Stepping away from the film made us realize that we want to honor Crystal’s valiant life. We believe her story will change the lives of countless girls who are fighting the same battle every single day.

We’re excited to share that “Save My Seoul” will be released in July 2017. We hope this film will honor Crystal and help fight the injustice of sex-trafficking around the world. We’re so grateful for your patience and support through this long and challenging journey.

As we begin this new chapter for Jubilee, we believe now more than ever there is need for quality, inspiring content. I hope you’ll continue to watch our content and strive to live for something greater.

Take a moment to like our Facebook page and subscribe to our Youtube channel. We’ll be releasing new content every week. I promise it will have been worth the wait!

Humbly,
Jason
